We just wrapped up Cloud 9 2005 and it was great.

I don't know about you, but I had a blast this weekend. Rachelle did a great job with the teaching sessions, the presence of the Spirit of God was real and tangible throughout the weekend, the workshops were smooth and very informative, the worship was sweet, and the video rocked! It was a good weekend, one of the best. Thanks for your part, thanks for loving your kids, thanks for bringing them to Cloud 9, thanks for praying with them and others, and thanks for making this year's Cloud 9 a truly enjoyable experience for me. :-)

If you could take some time over the next couple of days and provide the Cloud 9 planning team with some feedback that would be very helpful. We are hoping to have a debrief meeting Wednesday, November 9th in Syracuse, IN. You are all invited to join the planning team for this important debrief session. Details, an agenda, and directions are coming later this week.

You can complete a feedback form on the Cloud 9 website at <http://www.cloud9retreat.com/survey/feedback.cfm> to give us your comments/thoughts. Please invite all your students, and leaders to also complete this feedback form as it helps us plan for upcoming Cloud 9 retreats. As a matter of fact, most of the changes to this year's retreat were a result of very helpful and useful feedback received from the feedback form. Remember, no anonymous negative feedback. Also, please take the time to make sure we have the most up-to-date contact information for you and your church.

We have scheduled Cloud 9 2006 for October 27-29, 2006 at Michindoh Camp and Matt Massey, the Sr. Pastor (and former youth pastor at VCC Cincinnati) of the NorthStar Vineyard Community Church will be our speaker. Matt spoke at Cloud 9 four years ago and did a fanstanic job and I'm looking forward to having Matt join us again for Cloud 9. In addition, we have invited Matt McCoy and his band Epic to lead worship at Cloud 9 2006. The cost for the retreat will be $99 per person and includes lodging, four meals (3 - Sat, 1-Sun), and a t-shirt.

We need suggestions for the Cloud 9 2006 t-shirts, if you have graphic artist, or graphically inclined student in your ministry get them to design our 2006 t-shirt. If we pick their design they will receive a free registration to Cloud 9 and my personal gratitude and thanks! :-) I want to get the the design done and shirts printed by summer of 2006.

Don't forget about Walking it Out in in Columbus <http://www.vineyardcolumbus.org/> March 2006, or Summer of Service in Cincinnati <http://www.summerofservice.com/> June 19–23, 2006, also Vineyard Columbus does a Summer Camp in July, talk to David McPeek about the 2006 dates.

The Great Lakes Region is having a regional website built over the next couple of months, if you have suggestions for what should be included in the youth section, please let me know and I will get your suggestions to the web development team.

Finally, I've updated the Cloud 9 website and put up the basic information for next year's retreat, the feedback form, photos, and an order form for the DVD. The DVD will ship on November 21st and costs $15 and you can pay for it online via PayPal. Churches will receive a free promotional DVD sometime in April with the Cloud 9 2006 registration material. Make sure we have the most up-to-date contact information for you and your church.
